Timeless Arts was founded in January 2004 and has developed its first Hip-Hop artist, Jura Shaheed (www.myspace.com/jurashaheed). This gifted emcee has been in the performing arts since 1996. Although he began playing instruments in the percussion field, his knowledge of music grew successfully into a conglomeration of synthetic works. His debut album, Music Therapy is a full of great imagery and tracks that are imaginative, soul evoking and ingenious. As the first artist on Timeless Arts Organization's label, Shaheed will set a tone for consistent good music that will come from a company that is true to its essence. Overall, Timeless Arts will serve as a organization that is committed to its artists but ultimately to music and art lovers worldwide. Surrounded by a family of musicians since birth, twenty-seven year old emcee, producer,songwriter and composer Jura Shaheed, is gifted with organic and synthetic musical abilities to put together songs made for your listening pleasure. This Chicago native has an unconditional love and appreciation for foundational music genres such as Traditional Jazz, Soul, Electronica, New Wave and Hip-Hop. Jura has been producing music and writing lyrics since the age of 15 and his first performance took place at the Cook County Hospital in the summer of 1996. With the downfall of the music industry, Jura realized how hard it was to put out an independent product that would satisfy the masses. Working hard in the studio, writing songs and recording music non-stop, Jura finished two albums worth of material. His first album, "A New Tomorrow," was recorded in his home studio and was released in 2006. And his sophmore album entitled, "Music Therapy," was released in May 2008. Jura Shaheed continues to produce Hip-Hop music with a blend of soul and experimental sounds. He is currently working on various musical projects with other indie Hip Hop, Rock and Soul artists, as well as instrumental albums for those who enjoy music that speaks for itself.
